Side Adventure
Today I am at the airport. I’m on my way to Idaho for my grandfather’s memorial service. It may not be the best circumstances, but it still feels good to get away. It feels good to be there for my mom. It feels good to see my sister for a bonus time this year. It feels good to get to see the mountains again. And, it feels good to pack a bag. Let’s see…. where did I leave off? Ah, yes, we just had the storm the last night in Keystone, SD. On to Jackson Hole, WY we go! The Big Reveal!!!
Here we go everyone!!! Finally the big day has arrived! I am revealing the plan for my epic road trip. I am just a few days away from departure and I am filled with so many emotions: stress, excitement, worry, anticipation… but mostly excitement. As I am sitting here writing this, I have about 25 million lists going through my brain of all the things I still need to do. The tent won’t get here until the end of August now, so we have pretty much given up on that. The last minute items from Amazon should be arriving tomorrow. Now… all I have left to do is pack and…
